Welcome to our "spacious" cabin...2 beds, a desk and chair...no bathroom?!?!

 This was our get away weekend with our good friends the Sturgis'.  The weather was perfect and the company was too.  We even watched the Angels beat the Giants while eating pizza in the Yosemite Valley floor.  Grant was excited about the win...but most of the people there were not.  We had a relaxing and fun time together.

This is "the rock".  We all spent some time on this rock...Deb had a few scratches getting off of it...don't ask!

Grant may have been a mountain climber in a past life!

These are our rented bikes in front of our cute little cabins.

What a beautiful and fun ride we had along the bike trail.  Checha did a long walk to El Cap but our bike path wouldn't go that far.

This was the only bear that we saw this trip...it was right in the middle of the Yosemite Store.

 

Scotto recycled his plastic bottle and got a nickel from the recycling center...it was an exciting moment.

Sometimes it is hard to remember how amazing and beautiful our National Parks are...we are so lucky to be so close to some of them.
