The Tiffin YARD Crews!!!

So many friends...So little time...SOOO much to do!!!

Before...   June 2001

After!  November 2002

Before...

This is the full view of the front of the house on the day we moved in!! Ouch!

After...

What an amazing difference!

Let the work begin!!!

Many hours of dirt time...removing rocks, chopping down trees, taking out roots, rotatiling, cutting weeds, adding dirt...

the list goes on and on!

Phil takes on the dead oak       tree  and ...

Deborah finishes it off!!! Vroommmmm!

Grant was the "hatchet man" with the roots of the big fur tree.

Scott is always an outstanding helper.  He loves to go out and help with whatever job we are all doing... Yeah Scotto!

Bachecha spends more time helping to resolve some of the very interesting problems the previous owners created!  This time it's the main water server to the house.

Good-Bye Old Walkway...

We're Gonna Jack It  UP!

After much debate about keeping the old walkway, we finally spread out flour for the new sidewalk lines and decided to "Jack it Up!"

Go Phil Go!

Picture perfect - or something like that.  Now we had to haul all of this cement to the cement recycling center in Pittsburg...thank goodness for the Red Bomb Truck!

WOW!!  I thought I was in LOVE all over again...with the walkway!  This is the beautiful work of a parent of one of Deborah's favorite students from long ago.

Mr. Ron was the lead sprinkler man...we just did as we were told.

Sprinklers and boarders in...ready for the green stuff.

More work ahead!

Sod Delievery - Oct. 2002

And dreams of the future!

And now it's time to play on our new green, green grass...say cheese!

Time to Plant...Yeah!

November 2002

And plant we did...over 160 containers went into the ground!  Mr. Ron helped with design and to keep our costs as low as possible...thank you!

We were all concerned because it rained 3 inches the days before we planted.  There were some ideas to postpone the adventure but we were so glad that we didn't cancel.  The sun came out on Saturday and the ground was perfect to dig in.  Someone was looking out of us somewhere for sure!

Sun, sun, Mr. Golden Sun...thanks for shining down on us!

Mr. Ron gets those hands dirty but he refused to look at the camera!  We got his better side anyway...hee, hee!

Time for dirt and diggin'

Auntie Robin and the girls came to lend their support and shovelin' powers.  Robin was going to help plant "one" and was here for 4 hours!

We are soooo lucky!

Mema makes her way to NorthernCal to...plant plants.  Lucky Mema!  We are all glad to see her for lots of reasons...thanks for all of your help and encouragement!

Family fun at it's best!  Mema, Phil and Deborah get lots of dirt in their nails today!

Wow - what a beautiful difference!

Devin's photo lab...she took about 50 pictures of our new nature yard.

The last part of the yard to be planted...team work at its best...we are so excited to have a yard to drive home to!

Yard...Sweet...Yard...Yeah!
